Gregory F. Milzcik
President & Chief Executive Officer
Gregory F. Milzcik (50) was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Barnes Group Inc. on September 11, 2006.
Since joining the company in 1999, he has held a variety of increasingly responsible executive positions within the Corporation, including Chief Operating Officer, President of Barnes Industrial (formerly Associated Spring), and President of Barnes Aerospace.
Mr. Milzcik joined the Company from Lockheed Martin where he served as Vice President and General Manager of International Operations for Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Centers. Mr. Milzcik's career has also included experience in management, operations and technical positions at AAR Corp., Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corp. and General Electric.
Mr. Milzcik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and Technology from Thomas Edison State College and following the completion of graduate programs at Harvard University and Cambridge College, earned a Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, he is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) and a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
Mr. Milzcik currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barnes Group Inc., IDEX Corporation and Thomas Edison State College Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Manufacturing Alliance (MAPI), and the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA).
